Dubbo Photography Workshops and One-on-one Mentoring

I am convinced that fostering a culture of knowledge sharing can lead us all to greater heights, and this is particularly pertinent in the world of photography. There are many in this arena, each endowed with unique qualities that enrich the collective tapestry. Your clients, in turn, will undoubtedly embrace and value you for the distinctive experiences you bring them.

I strive to create an environment where participants can delve into the depths of their emotions – be it nervousness, fear, uncertainty, or a lack of confidence. I will guide you through your photography journey, helping you recognise that the only one standing in the way of their creative potential is yourself.

By tapping into these vulnerabilities and uncertainties, my workshops are designed not only to impart technical skills but also to cultivate a profound sense of self-awareness. It's about unlocking the untapped potential within, fostering a mindset that sees obstacles not as insurmountable barriers, but rather as stepping stones toward artistic growth and self-discovery.

In essence, the collaborative exchange of knowledge becomes a catalyst for personal change and you will come away feeling excited and motivated for what lies ahead for your business. As we traverse this artistic landscape together, embracing our individuality and learning from one another, the possibilities for creative innovation and fulfilment become boundless.

My name is Emily Rouse

Each day is a journey of discovery for me. I am a deep thinker and feeler and every part of my life I over analyse. I want to drink in every moment and this lead me to my photography career that began in 2020. While I am still a baby in the photography world, I feel like I have found my feet and it's the only place I can fully express myself and be completely "me" outside of my world of midwifery and mothering.

I consider myself fairly ordinary, I am a country girl, a mother of three beautiful baby's and a passionate midwife. Midwife means to be 'with woman' and this is weaved throughout my work. I don't like wearing jewellery, my favourite outfit is white t-shirt and jeans and my friend circle is small but wonderful. If you are here to learn from me, I am extremely grateful and I hope that you find exactly what you are looking for.

DUBBO PHOTOGRAPHY MENTORING

STEP ONE: PRE-MENTORING QUESTIONNAIRE

This is a quiz for me to see where you are at in your journey, it gives me a good idea on how I can help you. As soon as you lock in any of the following, I will send you this.

STEP TWO: ZOOM MEETING $390

Based on the information provided in the quiz, we can have a chat about your needs and how I can help you. This is a chat about anything that you want and goes for around one hour. I encourage you to write down any questions you would like answered so that no stone is unturned. If you are continuing on to 'shoot with me' this is where we also talk about your vision for your shoot and what you would like to add to your portfolio.

STEP THREE: SHOOT WITH ME! $590

Come along to a shoot with me! This is your opportunity for some on the job training. I will organise a shoot for you (you choose the type of session) and you can watch how I work and interact with clients and you can also take some photos for your own portfolio.

STEP FOUR: EDIT WITH ME! $590

If you are struggling with the editing side of things, I can offer you advice on how I create the images that I put out into the world. We can go through Lightroom sliders and what my post shoot workflow is like. This can be done on it's own or after the 'shoot with me' session.

STEP FIVE: follow up

Two weeks after our session together I would love to follow up and chat with you via zoom or messages to see if you have any further questions. This is apart of the above packages and included at no extra charge.

The above can be booked individually or you can do all of it foR:

$1,290

(saving $280)

DUBBO PHOTOGRAPHY FEMME WORKSHOPS

I run 1-2 workshops per year with only six places in each.

I find six is a good number for me to be able to chat with each of you and have everyone get their turn taking photos of the beautiful models.

The best place to hear about my most recent offerings for workshops is over on my instagram: @emilylouisephotog

These workshops ate great for networking, chatting with like-minded photographers and for getting the images that you want for your portfolio to chase your dreams.
